Colvin Farm is a Backyard Habitat Property

If you seek the solitude and beauty of nature, look no further than Colvin Farm Bed & Breakfast for your stay.  Our farmhouse sits on 12 well-tended acres surrounded by hundreds of acres of Carolina pine forests.

Adjacent to the house, you will find an abundance of flowers, shrubs, and fruit and pecan trees which attract a large variety of birds and butterflies.  Whether your trip is for a single night's getaway or a restful change of pace for your business travel, we will provide you with our own special brand of Southern hospitality.

Colvin Farm Bed and Breakfast has been given the honor of being on the National Register of Historical Places as The Colvin-Fant -Durham Farm Complex. The house was erected ca. 1835 by Nicolas Colvin, Jr., a prosperous Chester County farmer. The farm remained with the direct descendants of Nicolas Colvin until 1990. In 1983 the house was used in the filming of the miniseries "Chiefs". The stenciled brick chimneys are a reminder of that today.
